Coming out of Indiana Tech University in 2011, Manny Hendrix Jr. took his game to Australia’s BIG V League where he’s played three consecutive first-class seasons on the court and in the community. In his first professional season Hendrix averaged 28 PPG, which earned him the league’s Scoring Champion award and a spot on the All-Star team. That same year Hendrix was also crowned the Dunk Contest Champion. In his most recent season, he was one of the league’s top performers with 26.8 PPG, 6.3 RPG, 2.6 APG, and 2.5 SPG.

In addition to his on the court dominance, Hendrix is also very involved with helping lead basketball camps for local youth, an activity that he takes a lot of pride in and from which his teams have received a lot of great publicity. His passion for the game and mentoring the next generation likely hail from his father, Manny Hendrix Sr., a six-year cornerback for the NFL Dallas Cowboys and current athletic director at the University of Utah.

Hendrix is a very athletic/versatile player with incredible shooting accuracy. He’s a player that can drive the ball to the net and create shots off the dribble. Hendrix has great ball handling skills and quick passing ability. In addition, he’s also a great defender that can take on a strong perimeter threat, protect the basket and grab rebounds.
