As a star cornerback and kick returner for Florida State University, leading the NCAA in punt returns in 09 and earning Chick-fil-A Bowl Defensive MVP in 2010, Greg Reid is an explosive defensive back that is exciting to watch. After undergoing an upsetting ACL tear in 2012, Greg fought the odds and continued to push through the adversity to achieve his dream of one day playing in the NFL. Training vigorously to get back to where he once was as a highly regarded athlete, Reid finally had his chance when he signed with the St. Louis Rams in March of 2014. After a life fulfilling few months Reid was unfortunately let go in August during final cuts.
Not to be discouraged, Reid continued to chase down his NFL dream by entering into the Arena Football League (AFL). Fine tuning and sharpening his gridiron game, Reid played for the New Orleans VooDoo in Dec. 2014 and was then assigned to the Jacksonville Sharks in April 2015. After totaling 70.5 tackles, 9 interceptions, 1 forced fumble, 2 fumble recoveries, 1 kick return for a TD, and 21 pass breakups in 12 starts for the Sharks, Reid was named the 2015 AFL Rookie of the Year and made First Team All-Arena. It’s safe to say that the NFL has not seen the last of Greg Reid.

Darby continued to work hard on his game and his dedication paid off in 2012 when he earned All-Pac-12 Second-Team honors. Ranked fifth on the team in tackles with 80, including eight in the team’s bowl victory against Navy, and ranked Sixth All-Time on ASU's single-season interception return yards list with 154.
As a team captain, Darby was the first Sun Devil to earn the privilege of wearing the Pat Tillman Practice Jersey, which head coach Todd Graham awards to those who embody the positive characteristics of the football program and university. Capping of his senior year in the 2014 East-West Shrine Game, recording two interceptions in the game, Darby reached the end of his college football career.
